Being a homeowner is one the best long term investments someone can make, unfortunately there are still many low income individuals who never get the opportunity to own their own home. They are instead forced to rent, which means that they’re essentially paying into someone else’s asset without ever benefiting from all that time and money spent. I want to give those who are struggling to become homeowners the chance to own their own home at no cost. Those homes would be constructed out of shipping containers that are converted into suitable living spaces for people like single parents, the elderly, young families, former foster children, or anybody who just needs a place to live. We take care of all the costs such as property and construction and all we ask in exchange is for the prospective homeowners to take care of their home and pay their utilities.
We do not benefit or gain any profit from this in any way, the only ones who see any benefit are those who receive the homes.
“If you can live mortgage free, you can live a rich life on little money.”
How We Plan to Build Homes
We will buy land or receive land grants from the prospective mayor of the city we choose to build on in the state of Colorado and buy the materials that are needed to build the home. We will then work with our contractor and contact quality plumbers and electricians to ensure the safety of the homes. Our primary source of income and labor would be through donations and volunteers.
Who Would Get a Home?
The homes we build are meant for anybody who is struggling to find a place to live. We want to help people live a more stable life and owning a home can set up a foundation for a good life. Maybe you’re a single parent struggling to keep afloat, a older or disabled citizen who lives on a fixed income, a young family just starting out, or kid who just out grew the foster system. No matter who you are or where you com from, we’re willing to help.
